Recording APT. on a K-Pop Seoul Trip — Alina's ROSÉ & Bruno Mars Experience
A BLINK's Seoul Trip: Alina recorded ROSÉ & Bruno Mars' APT. — full range and all — in a real K-pop booth.
Yes — you can record your favorite K-pop song in a real Seoul studio, the same way an idol does. That is exactly what Alina, a BLINK who flew in from Germany with her dad, did on her Seoul Trip: she stepped into a professional vocal booth and recorded ROSÉ & Bruno Mars' APT. — chant, full range, and all.
For a lot of fans, a Seoul Trip is concert venues, photocards, and café-hopping. Alina wanted something she could keep: her own voice on a song that was never built to sit comfortably in one place. That is what the DIAMOND experience at KING STUDIO is for — not a tour stop, but a session where the song actually gets made. If recording a track in Seoul is on your bucket list, this is what the day actually looks like.
A quick note on the song, because BLINKs will catch it: APT. is ROSÉ's solo single — her first since leaving YG — with Bruno Mars, released in October 2024. It's built on a Korean drinking-game chant ("apateu"). It is not a BLACKPINK track, and Alina chose it knowing that. She wanted ROSÉ's solo, the one that topped charts in her home country of Germany and over thirty others.
The DIAMOND Experience — Step by Step
The DIAMOND tier is the full idol-session walkthrough, not a quick karaoke booth. Here is how Alina's session ran, start to finish.
Step 1 Meeting the team
Alina was introduced to the three people who'd run her session: Vocal Director Seung Won, Manager Jen, and Producer Aiden. Her dad, Johannes, sat in for the session — he'd booked it for her.

Step 2 The studio tour
Before any singing, a walk through the booth: the condenser microphone, pop filter, and the cue (headphone-monitor) system that lets you hear the backing track and your own voice balanced in real time — the setup ROSÉ herself would track on.

Step 3 Vocal warm-up & key check

Seung Won took Alina through warm-ups and checked where her voice sat against APT.'s key. This matters more for this song than most.
Step 4 Rehearsal & key adjustment — the hard part
Here's where Alina's session got real. The challenge with APT. is full-range usage: the verses sit in a tight, almost spoken low register, the chant is punchy and rhythmic, and the chorus jumps up and stays there. The song demands you move across your whole range and snap between attitudes — bratty chant, then big open belt — without the seams showing. Seung Won adjusted the key so the top of the chorus stayed powerful instead of straining, while keeping the low verses from disappearing.

Step 5 Full Rehearsal

A full run in the booth, headphones on, to lock the arrangement before tracking for real.
Step 6 Idol-style recording & directing

This is the DIAMOND difference. Rather than one nervous take of the whole song, parts are tracked separately and directed line by line — the chant, the verses, the chorus, the ad-libs — then comped together into one clean vocal, exactly how an idol record is built. Seung Won coached Alina through the sections that fought back.
Step 7 Final monitoring & the DIAMOND welcome kit

Ruff Mixed played back in the control room — Alina heard her own APT. sounding like a finished record, and went home with the DIAMOND welcome kit.
DIAMOND includes the full directed multi-take recording, mixing and mastering, and the welcome kit — well beyond the basic packages. Current pricing and what's bundled at each tier lives on the DIAMOND booking page.
A ROSÉ Seoul Guide
I'd normally drop a list of ROSÉ-tied Seoul spots here for your own trip — clearly separate from where Alina actually went. But I don't have a set of independently verified, ROSÉ-specific locations I'd stand behind, and APT. being her solo work means I won't pad this with BLACKPINK landmarks to fill a list. Rather than hand you guesses, I'm leaving this open. If you want this section, give me confirmed ROSÉ-associated places (or Alina's real Seoul route) and I'll build it properly.

What Alina Said After
Alina's recorded message after finishing her session (video) Johannes booked the DIAMOND session for Alina as the centerpiece of their Seoul Trip.
(Paraphrased from Alina's post-session thank-you — not a verbatim quote.) Alina admitted APT. was genuinely hard and that she struggled early on. What got her through was the encouragement around her in the booth. The difficult song turned into something she was proud of, and she was grateful for it.
Planning Your Own K-Pop Seoul Trip
Recording at KING STUDIO works as the anchor of a Seoul Trip, not a side errand. Block out the session, and build the rest of your Korea travel around it. If APT.'s full range scares you a little — good. That's the part Alina was proudest of clearing. A vocal director adjusting the key to your voice is the whole point of the DIAMOND experience: the song meets you where you are.
